Those who enjoy St. Patrick’s Day will feel better this morning after a night out on Guinness.


St. Patrick’s Day returned yesterday, so beer lovers around the world flocked to grab a pint (or more) of Guinness.

Leicester Square was the center of the festivities, with many groups heading to Waxy O’Connor’s, the famous Irish pub chain.

Celebrations took place from Newcastle to New York as thousands of people hit the town on St. Patrick’s Day.

But after a night of Irish fun in the heart of the capital, we suspect the heavy drinkers are feeling even better this morning.

Leeds and Newcastle are among the other British cities snapped at last night’s roaring St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Meanwhile, with the prince The Princess of Wales enjoyed a sip of “black stuff” at the Irish Guard’s St Patrick’s Day Parade in Aldershot.

Kate attended the event for the first time as a Colonel of the Irish Guards last week, following an action-packed day of training in the snow with the Irish Guards.

The couple marked the event on their Instagram account, writing,

“From your predecessor to your next colonel, we will continue to support and defend you in all you do.” Celebrations were also held across the island of Ireland, with large crowds gathering to celebrate 17 March in towns and cities.

The 2023 Dublin parade will feature 4,200 performers, including marching bands, aerial acrobats and bright costumes, televised live.

Parade participants wore leprechaun hats, green dyed beards and emerald scarves.

The parade centered around the theme of ‘ONE’, which is to ‘illuminate all the goodness that surrounds us’ by preserving and embracing the world’s traditions, cultures and heritage.
