The New Abolitionists Trailer and Release Date: Freestyle Digital Media’s Anti-Sex Trafficking Documentary, from Director Christina Zorich and Producer Olympia Dukakis

Kat KramerFilms That Change the World is an international film series that showcases films and documentaries that raise awareness of important social issues.The premiere kicked off a week-long Oscar qualifying run new abolitionists At Laemmle Monica, all ticket proceeds will go to the anti-human trafficking organizations featured in the documentary.

of new abolitionistsAccording to a release about the documentary, “Zorich travels through Southeast Asia to investigate why and how sex trafficking is thriving in the world’s most trafficked regions.” It follows four Christian ministries and NGOs at war, exploring the problems behind them while providing a platform for victims and their allies to speak for themselves, articulate their problems, and create solutions. Creating… survivors and their allies tell their individual stories and why they chose to dedicate their lives to rescue, rehabilitation and prevention.

The film is the result of Zorich’s seven-year journey to document abolitionists fighting to end sex trafficking in Cambodia, Thailand and elsewhere. [Watch an exclusive clip below].

new abolitionists It’s one of the last achievements in the extraordinary career of the Oscar-winning star Dukakis. moonstruck, died in May 2021 at the age of 89. Freestyle Digital Media, a division of Byron Allen’s media and entertainment empire, plans to release the documentary in early 2023.

After tonight’s premiere, Kramer will moderate a panel discussion with Zorich, cast, crew and anti-trafficking experts, including Annie Dieselberg, CEO and Founder of Night Light International. Cory Nickols, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, Destiny Rescue USA.Landon Satterfield new abolitionists Editor/Story Consultant. Filmmaker/TV producer Craig Martin and pioneering anti-trafficking activist Jason Page.

Kramer, the daughter of legendary director and producer Stanley Kramer, will soon be #SHERoesForChange The festival hosts documentaries focused on issues of women’s empowerment, produced by predominantly female filmmakers.
