A 14-year-old high school girl committed “suicide attempts” and “self-harm” after being targeted for “racism” at school, culminating in a violent attack in which she pulled out her hair. Keziah Falanga was “jumped” by her three or her four schoolboys, who had previously been compared to “gorillas”, at Hendon School in north-west London.
Her sister, Christesse Lukeba, told Express.co.uk the abuse had been going on for “several years” and “this is not the first time she has been targeted by people at school”.
Keziah, who was said to be a member of the “BLM team” because she has many black friends, was attacked by four boys in front of her faculty members, and her friends “came to her to pull the boys.” Stay away.”
Lukeva claimed that Hendon staff called her sister an “attacker,” and that one teacher recommended her “paracetamol,” while others “didn’t worry at all.”
Ms Lukeba says she knows what happened in the aftermath of the incident because Ms Keziah called her immediately and continued to call while the teacher spoke to her.
“She got out of the fight [and] She called me right away,” Lukeba said.
“My mood completely changed when I heard her scream.
“‘Keziah, why are you screaming?’ she asked, and the schoolgirl replied, ‘I just jumped. These boys jumped over me.'”
Rukeba said he immediately started a video call with Keziah.
“I was calling and talking to her on FaceTime and she didn’t even realize she was losing her hair.”
It was during this FaceTime call that Lukeba saw a gaping hole in her sister’s braids. She said that when she informed Keziah that her hair was gone, “her mood literally collapsed” for the 14-year-old girl.
The older sister told her younger sister to “stop” and “turn her head to the side”, at which point she confirmed that Keziah had “baldness” as a result of the attack.
Ms Rukeba said it’s a culture that Hendon School staff do not take action when faced with bullying, and that the children must take justice into their own hands.
“Every kid in that school is every man for himself.
“Every time she [Keziah] they don’t do anything She is labeled as an aggressor because she confronts these people. ”
A formal Obstead complaint against the Hendon School was filed by Ms Lukeba.
Keziah was a vulnerable child and “has had a really tough life considering she’s 14 now,” her sister said.
Rukeba continued, the challenges in her upbringing were, “Combined with having this, [abuse] “in school” means “of course” her sister “acts”.
However, she claimed the consistent abuse “triggered self-harm.”
“She has attempted suicide many times, but she is only 14 and has received no help.”
A Hendon School spokeswoman said: “While we are investigating and working with local authorities and police to clarify the facts, we are unable to comment on the specific details of the allegations.
“However, as a school that prides itself on its inclusive culture, we take all allegations of racism and bullying very seriously and strongly disciplinary action should this occur among our students. We can say that we will dispose of it.
“We are aware of what has been shared on social media and are working with our partner institutions to ensure that the students involved in the incident are protected from those trying to take the law into their own hands. .
“We would like to reassure the community that the health of our students remains our top concern and that we will continue to support them at this time.”
