Saxophonist Kenny G, 66, is about to stop supporting his spouse because ‘touring opportunities are drying up’

Lawyers for Grammy-winning musician Kenny G filed legal documents on Friday demanding that his ex-wife agree to terminate the $40,000 a month she was paying.

Born Kenneth Gorelik in Seattle, the 66-year-old musician was married to Lindy Benson for 21 years.

The couple divorced in 2013 and he agreed to pay her a hefty monthly fee.

However, in September 2021, he filed documents claiming he could no longer continue to send money to her, and on Friday, the case remained unsolved and his attorney served Benson’s.

“Kenny, now 65, has been paying Lindy spousal support for over nine years,” the original document states.

He’s been paying his ex-wife $3.9 million since 2013, his attorney noted.

“Lindy is 57 years old and, as far as Kenny knows, in good health,” his attorney wrote in the original complaint.

“Lindy has refused to be fully independent for almost ten years.
