A woman hits back at her critics for decorating her rental home, claiming it’s hers because she pays the rent.

But as she showed in a video on her TikTok page, things inside the property are just as colorful and vibrant.
“POV: Your landlord is coming to inspect your home” Carmen wrote about the clipwhen she brought the camera home.
In addition to the green wall upon entering, there was an astronaut figure attached to the wall and a green and silver staircase.
The kitchen had a white-and-yellow striped refrigerator, a hot pink worktop, and sprinkle-like cupboards.
The front room had leopard-print cupboards, striped wallpaper, colored tables and chairs, and even donut-shaped bean bags.

Despite Carmen predicting trolling in the comments section, the majority of people claimed they had no problem with how she decorated the house.
“If you’re willing to pay to restore it to the condition it was in when you moved in, I think you’ll be fine,” one person wrote.
“Yes, we’ve completely remodeled the entire yard, built a 12-foot summer house, and painted the fascia, so it’s a real improvement,” Carmen replied.

“And people tell me that wallpapering the walls is overkill.”
“Some renters are horrible, so all I see is clean and well-maintained,” one-third commented.

“I agree that you pay for it, so as long as you leave it in a state where no one cares, we should be able to make it unique,” added another.
However, some argued that it was unacceptable in their own countries.
“As a former renter in Australia, I can say that I was once reported to have an extra hook – on a wall with 3 other hooks.
“In Ireland, you couldn’t even hang a painting on the wall of your rented house,” added another.
“I rent my house to a woman, but the contract says that you must ask me first before you change anything,” wrote a third user.
