Lance Reddick’s wife thanks fans for ‘overwhelming’ support since his death
Lance Reddick’s wife says: Shocking news of her husband’s death.
The actor died suddenly on Friday morning (March 17) at the age of 60. Fans of his work on The Wire and John Wick are heartbroken.
Stephanie Reddick released a statement thanking him for the “overwhelming” support.
She: “Lance was taken away from us too soon. Thank you for all the overwhelming love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the past day.
“I can’t express how grateful I am to see your message.”
She took to her late husband’s verified Instagram page, along with a series of portraits of him, and continued: Lance loved you as much as he loved the game.
Stephanie concluded with a request, “You can donate to momcares.org in his hometown of Baltimore.”
The widow met plenty of love in the comments, including actress Halle Berry.
“My love and prayers are with the family at this very sad time. Lance was one of the most sincere people I have ever met. Just the one and only! RIP Sweet King 👑’, she wrote. rice field.
Terry Crews also commented on a series of love heart emojis.
“We are here for you, Stephanie. We are all suffering right now,” wrote one mourner.
“He embodied everything a person should be. His presence in our gaming community brought a lot of joy to everyone. My heartfelt condolences ❤️,” commented another fan. .
Reddick’s death was announced by his publicist, Mia Hansen.
In a statement, she said:
“Lance will be very lonely.
“Please respect his family’s privacy at this time.”
Reddick’s co-star Keanu Reeves subsequently described the actor as “a consummate professional and a joy to work with.”
“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken at the loss of our dearest friend and colleague, Lance Reddick,” Hollywood star and “John Wick” director Chad Stahelski said in a joint statement.
“He was a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends.
“I dedicate this film to his loving memory. I will miss him.
Entertainment company Lionsgate also paid tribute to the star, saying:
“Although Lance left behind an indelible legacy and a very impressive body of work, we will remember him as our lovely and delightful friend and concierge.
“We are stunned and heartbroken. Our condolences to his beloved family and his fans around the world.”
