Hunter Biden sues over laptop leak


Hunter Biden has sued a laptop repairman after his computer’s contents were leaked to Trump’s allies. Data leaked from his laptop suggests Hunter offered an energy company adviser an “opportunity” to meet the then-Vice President.

Hunter and his attorney allege that John Paul Mac Isaac, who runs a repair shop, illegally copied and distributed personal information from his laptop’s hard drive.

Materials from the laptop allegedly contain text and financial records related to his overseas business dealings in China. Ukraineand suggestive photos or videos of him having sex and using drugs.

Hunter’s attorneys are now requesting a jury trial to determine the amount of damages and asking Mac Isaac to return the data belonging to him.

“The purpose of violating Mr. Biden’s privacy and disseminating his data was to harm and embarrass Mr. Biden, not for a legitimate purpose.”

The Post reported that the FBI had seized a computer allegedly owned by Hunter Biden.

He then decided to look at the material, calling it “disturbing” and “embarrassing” before speaking to the FBI.

After watching Trump’s first impeachment proceedings in 2019, he focused on his own response. UkraineMac Isaac gave a copy of the hard drive to Giuliani’s attorney, Robert J. Costello.

Giuliani then handed over the data to the Post, the outlet said, and began claiming the Biden family was corrupt.

Mac Isaac sued Hunter last year, claiming he was defamed by the president’s son’s allegations that Hunter illegally accessed his data.
