Full list of shops and supermarkets closing by the end of the month
Hundreds of high street brands have closed permanently this year, with many more set to close by the end of the month.
Retail company Feeling pinched since pandemic, shoppers are cutting back on spending due to surge inflation.
In addition, more than 15,000 jobs have been lost since the beginning of the year as dozens of retailers went bankrupt or were laid off.
High energy costs and the post-pandemic shift to online shopping have also hit hard, with many high street shops struggling to survive.
Some big name retailers have closed a few branches, while others are disappearing from high streets entirely.
Here we round up all the stores that are scheduled to close by the end of the month.
B&M
B&M plans to close four stores this year, including Stockton Bristol.
We will also be closing our Kilmarnock branch on Queens Drive Retail Park on March 26th.
B&Q

One of the UK’s largest card retailers clinton family announced that it will permanently close two stores by the end of this month.
The Whitehaven, Cumbria store will close on March 19th.
The Market Street store in Bolton will also close at the end of the month, though no specific date has been confirmed.

Homesense is part of the same company that we own. TK Max We mainly sell home furnishings.
announced that it will be closed Swansea No specific date has been confirmed, but the branch will open in March.
Iceland
IcelandKnown primarily for its frozen inventory, it will close three more stores at the end of the month.

- St Catherine’s Place, Bedminster, Bristol – March 25th

What other stores will be closing this year?
Halfords, House of Fraser and even high street giants MS are some of the retailers closing this year.
Stationery retailer Paperchase is already closing branches.
Many banks and building associations are set to close within days.
barclays plans to close four branches this month, including those in Birmingham, Sittingbourne and Torquay.

If you’re worried about your local bank branch closing, you have a few options.
You can always switch to another bank or building society with a branch closest to you.
Or if you don’t want to switch, you can either use post office 11,635 branches performing the most basic banking operations.
Some banks also have a ‘mobile banking service’, taking a bus to your area that offers services that are normally available at the nearest physical branch.
If it is difficult to get to the nearest branch, it is worth contacting your bank to confirm. Sacrifice such service.
