The Hampton County coroner has also asked investigators to reopen the case of Murdaw’s housekeeper Gloria Satterfield, who died in an accidental fall in the Moselle in 2018.

“The death certificate ruled that the death was ‘natural,’ which is inconsistent with the injuries sustained in the accidental trip or fall,” the coroner wrote to state investigators.
